IV International Meeting on Gravitation and Cosmology

The Universidad de Guadalajara through the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías organize this year the IV International Meeting on Gravitation and Cosmology. This event is a series of scientific meetings focusing in selected topics in these areas, such as, the role of scalar fields in gravitation and cosmology, the dark energy and dark matter issues, alternative theories of gravity, modifications of general relativity (MOND, extra-dimensional theories, f(R), f(R,G), and f(T) theories amongst them), and other topics of current interest for the physics community. Contributions aimed at discussing observational aspects of these subjects are also welcome.
The I and II meetings took place in Santa Clara, Cuba, in 2004 and 2006 years respectively, while the III meeting was held in Morelia, México, in 2008 year. This time the International Meeting on Gravitation and Cosmology, will be held from May 21 to 25, 2012 year and will take place in a very inspiring environment at the Regional Museum of Guadalajara, located in the heart of the historic center of this amazing city of Jalisco State (México).
