VIII International Symposium
on Radiation Physics.
1st Announcement, January 23rd 2012.
Dear Collegue,
This is
the first announcement for the VIII International Symposium on Radiation
Physics to be held April 9th through 11th at the Instituto
de Física in Mexico City. More information will be
posted at the official site of the meeting (enclosed a copy of the poster):
The
organizing committee will be receiving papers to be presented at the Symposium
until Sunday February the 26th.
Those
interested should send an e-mail to
chavez@fisica.unam.mx
The message
should contain the following information:
Title:
Correspondent
author and institution (and speaker if different):
List of
other authors and institutions:
Abstract:
At least two PACS numbers.
The
correspondent author will be informed by March 1st if the work is:
-
selected, and receive an invitation to present it orally in a plenary talk.
- accepted
to be presented in the form of poster or
- rejected
Proceedings
will be published at “Revista Mexicana de Física”, as a special section of a regular number (not a
Supplement as before).
Final
version of the manuscript has to be prepared according to the guidelines
published by the RMF:
http://rmf.smf.mx/page/rmf_instrucciones
All works presented
orally are expected to be submitted for publication. Authors presenting a
poster can optionally submit a manuscript too.
An
important part of the a successful preparation of the proceedings and a
commitment with the RMF, is to have them ready for publication quickly to
safeguard the originality of the material presented at the meeting, and to help
establish a yearly editorial routine.
Manuscripts
will be received no later than April 30th. There will be no deadline
extensions.
Summary of
important dates:
Sunday
February 26th: deadline to submit a contribution.
Thursday
March 1st: Communication to the correspondent author on the decision on his
work.
Monday
April 9th: Beginning of the Meeting.
Monday
April 30th: Deadline to submit a manuscript.
